In Exodus 14:15, we can read that the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!
This is what the Lord told Moses when the Israelites got nervous at the sight of the Egyptians chasing them while they were about to cross the Red Sea. The Israelites started to complain to Moses and wanted to go back to Egypt and continue serving their cruel Egyptian masters.
They told Moses "Didn’t we tell you this would happen while we were still in Egypt? We said, ‘Leave us alone! Let us be slaves to the Egyptians. It’s better to be a slave in Egypt than a corpse in the wilderness!’” (Exodus 14:12)
And like them, this is often what we do when we experience difficulties. We look back and we foolishly wish to go back to our comfort zones where things were predictable and we always knew what will happen. Although things were difficult but we could always predict what will happen tomorrow.
Sometimes, we may think that we have reached a dead end and we are already defeated. We may feel that our circumstances is as huge as the Red Sea and it is about to drown us to death.
But the most important step in gaining victory is to keep moving. Keep moving. Stop whining and complaining move your butt forward. Coz victory is waiting at the end of the road.
